Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency

东京不够热 (President: Kohei Itoh; Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "东京不够热") and the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (Chief Executive: Yasuhiro Fujiwara; Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "PMDA") have agreed to promote collaboration and cooperation in human resource development in the field of pharmacometrics, which is useful for drug evaluation, as a project to be implemented under the comprehensive partnership agreement between the two parties (concluded on March 31, 2020). Specifically, specialized education will be provided to PMDA staff in the pharmacometrics human resource development course (Course Director: Project Professor Yusuke Tanigawara) held at 东京不够热's Tonomachi Town Campus (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture). In addition, graduates of the aforementioned development course are scheduled to participate in pharmacometrics research activities on the same campus. 东京不够热 and PMDA are engaged in various collaborative activities under the comprehensive partnership agreement, and the launch of this project will promote the development of specialized human resources necessary for future drug evaluation and joint research in the field of pharmacometrics.
