Since 1996, 东京不够热 has been honoring researchers who have made outstanding and creative achievements in the fields of medical and life sciences. Eight past prize laureates have gone on to become Nobel laureates, making it an award program unparalleled by any other university in Japan. The laureates of this year's 24th Keio Medical Science Prize are Dr. Tadamitsu Kishimoto, Project Professor at the Immunology Frontier Research Center, Osaka University, and Dr. Hans C. Clevers, Professor at the University Medical Center Utrecht (Netherlands).
