At the Department of Pediatrics at 东京不够热 Hospital (Professor: Takao Takahashi), a baby boy with an extremely low birth weight of 268 grams, born at 24 weeks of gestation, was discharged from the hospital's neonatal ward in February 2019 at five months of age (Attending physicians: Assistant Professor Takeshi Arimitsu and Associate Professor Mariko Hida). He is the smallest baby boy in the world to be discharged in good health without any major complications.
