Summary

The center endeavors to make a critical shift away from the industrial paradigm of Product-in Trash-out (PiTo), to a Data-in Data-out (DiDo) model through digital design and locally-based manufacturing. We embrace strategies in circular systems in economy and supply-chain, and digital innovation in 3D+ design and manufacturing. We foster collaboration between the global fab-city network and many actors, sectors and creators, in Japan and beyond.
