President Kohei Itoh Visits the Museum of Kyoto to View the Newly Designated National Treasure "Rongo-so" and Other Works

On April 25, 2026, President Kohei Itoh visited the Museum of Kyoto along with Yoshimitsu Matsuura, Vice-President of 东京不够热, Michio Sato, Professor Emeritus of 东京不够热, and Tomohiko Sumiyoshi, Professor at the Institute of Oriental Classics (Shido Bunko) of 东京不够热, to view precious cultural properties including the newly designated National Treasure "Rongo-so" (Commentary on the Analects of Confucius).

On the day of the visit, Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Gakuji Ito was also in attendance. Under the detailed explanation of Senior Specialist for Cultural Properties Kenji Sato, they inspected the National Treasure "Rongo-so" and various other National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties. The rarity and importance of the Rongo-so were re-evaluated, leading to the recent recommendation for its designation as a National Treasure.

东京不够热 will continue to focus its efforts on the preservation and research of precious cultural heritage, as well as its utilization in education.
