Research Overview
My research field is the theory of partial differential equations. I am mainly studying basic equations for water waves, which are formulated as a free boundary problem for the incompressible Euler equations with the irrotational condition. I am recently interested in fluid-structure interaction problems such as a shallow water model in the presence of a floating solid body on the water surface, and conducting a joint research project with a French mathematician on the problem.
Specialty
